A consistent visual identity supports a strong brand for Dixie State University by creating a unified look in print and electronic communications. People notice visuals before they have read a single word. That is why it is so important for visuals to immediately identify our communications as coming from Dixie State.
Correct use of the logo, a specific color palette and distinctive fonts all help people recognize Dixie State in our work. Photographs help tell our stories, showing what Dixie State is doing to improve quality of life and better steward the natural world.
DSU Creative and Visual Services has made it easy to produce materials in the DSU style by creating a variety of templates for print pieces, websites and PowerPoint presentations. Using the templates ensures your work meets the guidelines, and helps support and maintain a consistent Dixie State brand.
Who are the visual identity guidelines for?
All academic, student services, administrative and outreach departments of Dixie State University that are funded through or by the university, and are not legally autonomous, must follow the visual identity guidelines that are described here. Outside agencies that create print or electronic materials for any Dixie State departments must also follow the guidelines.
These guidelines apply to all external and internal communications, including advertising, websites, brochures and other publications (including fliers), invitations, direct mail, postcards, booklets, catalogs, case statements, posters, billboards, banners and other environmental graphics, web pages, video, DVD, CD, film, presentations and stationery.
